Sourcing Specialist – Supply Management The location of the role is Gloucester. The duration of the contract is 6 months. The pay rate on offer is £30 – £37 per hour. Job Description Summary An exciting opportunity to join our sourcing organisation and have a meaningful impact on the business's ability to deliver. Reporting to the Material Delivery Leader, you will be working closely with our Suppliers and internal stakeholders to materially enable the business through active problem solving, utilising FLIGHT DECK to drive improvements. Owning orderbook management for a portfolio of suppliers and driving on time delivery whilst reducing arears and executing expedites you will support the achievement of business level delivery to our customers. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Analyse and report on supplier delivery performance ensuring early deliveries and arrears are managed effectively. Work with suppliers to expedite critical goods and services that directly or indirectly cause risk to on time delivery to our business and its customers. Be able to represent the business at all levels within the supplier to drive performance and orderbook excellence to ensure the most responsive outcome. Identify risks that impact supplier on time delivery and develop action plans with the supplier to get early intervention. Working with poor performing suppliers to coach through problem solving tools to set and drive recovery plans as required. Understand and be aware of any other LTA/Contract requirements that support delivery performance requirements and work with supplier to enforce those. Work cross functionally with internal stake holders when engaging in Supplier performance management.Desired Characteristics Self-directed and able to operate with minimal business guidance and support. Working experience in a regulatory environment Experience of manufacturing planning and manufacturing processes, systems, and management, ideally from an aerospace background. Proven analytical and organisational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Must have UK Driving license
