We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking technology professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in modern technologies and architectural principles, with a proven ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong, broad-based understanding of a wide range of technologies relevant to Barclaycard, including emerging technologies such as AWS, Azure, Java, and Adaptive/Responsive Design.
- Solid awareness of IT Security principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in designing secure, scalable, highly available, resilient, and performant solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of software delivery and deployment patterns, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, with a strong grasp of Enterprise Container Platforms (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with various integration mechanisms, such as RESTful Web Services and ETL.
- Awareness of data architecture best practices and modern data solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Data-Driven Design).
- Experience with source control, packaging, and build tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
