An opportunity has arisen for a SNOC Agent to join a 24/7 Security and Network Operations Centre supporting critical services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an operational environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes ownership of security and network incidents from first alert through to resolution or escalation.
About the Role - SNOC Agent
As a SNOC Agent, you will provide continuous monitoring and alerting of security and network events within a combined SOC and NOC environment.
You will perform initial triage of security events, determine incident impact, and resolve issues where appropriate in line with agreed processes.
The role involves working on a shift rota to ensure full 24/7 coverage and acting as the primary entry point for account related incidents.
You will follow defined escalation paths, ensuring incidents are passed to the correct resolver teams when required.
You will also support medium complexity implementation activities and contribute to maintaining service availability and security.
What We're Looking For - SNOC Agent
- Experience supporting security or network operations within a SOC, NOC, or SNOC environment.
- Ability to triage alerts, follow incident processes, and work calmly under pressure.
- Strong understanding of maintaining service availability and security across multiple products or platforms.
- Confidence communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-sufficient, organised, and comfortable working shifts in a 24/7 operational setting.
