Job Description:
ServiceNow Developer
The role is responsible for configuring, developing, and managing Governance Process on ServiceNow. The developer works closely with various stakeholders and product owners within Global Cloud Services to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions, ensuring customer expectations are met in a timely manner and aligned with technology standards.
Responsibilities:

  • Building technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on project needs and process requirements.
  • Good understanding of the overall architecture of ServiceNow.
  • Translate business requirements into functional design.
  • Propose API-based solutions focused on usability and automation.
  • Expert in working on Service Portal and custom apps.
  • Provide technical insights on the capabilities and best practices of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Have some understanding of the \’as is processes\’ and deliver toolset changes based on upcoming process changes.
  • Experience in end-to-end development activities for a specific enhancement or project as an individual contributor.
  • Work closely with BAs, architects, platform & testing team, and process teams.
  • Align to product roadmap to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Identifying areas of process and tooling improvement and provide necessary solutions.

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Experience with ServiceNow web services and APIs, expertise in JavaScript, with working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, Workflow Configuration.
  • Knowledge of web applications, network protocols (SMTP, POP3), and working knowledge of relational databases.
  • Experience in Angular HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, client-side and server-side scripting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Portal, Integration Hub, developing complex widgets, pages, and client-side/server-side scripting.
  • Experience developing complex workflows and flow designers.
  • Experience developing reusable APIs, writing reusable scripts, and developing custom scoped applications.
  • Complex reporting and experience dealing with version upgrades.
