Senior Test Analyst – Manual Testing – Infrastructure – Waterfall – SDLC – Test Plans – SOAP UI – SC Clearance – Up to £500 a day (Inside IR35) – North Glasgow – 6+ months Location: North Glasgow Rate: Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35) Security Clearance: SC Clearance Required Role Overview: We are looking for Senior Test Analysts to join the existing dynamic Test Practice. You may lead a team of Testers and will work closely with all project stakeholders. You will lead by example and work to develop your team and emerging talent to strengthen the Test Practice and build our reputation as a centre of excellence. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to grow and build upon your existing knowledge and ability Essential skills: Understanding the SDLC. Understanding of multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile, V-Model & Waterfall. Experience of testing both Infrastructure and Applications. Experience of identifying test data and creating test cases in response to clearly defined requirements. Including the creation of test cases in areas of technical testing specialism for both manual and automated testing. Experience of defect logging, investigation and support. Experience of collecting test related metrics. Experience of organization of test materials, environments, tools and resources required to deliver the planned testing activities and co-ordination of the delivery of testing against the schedule, reporting test progress, risks and test incidents. Creation of high quality test plan documents on small to medium projects or discrete pieces of work that address the requirements and mitigate the risks of the solution under test. Experience of writing Test scripts, Test Reports, Defect Management and Reporting requirements. Experience using SOAP UI, XML, Jenkins, JIRA.
