About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Senior Platform Engineer to help shape and scale a modern cloud-native platform that underpins high-volume data processing. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on enabling development teams through robust infrastructure, automation, and tooling.
You’ll be instrumental in evolving a lean, event-driven architecture that supports real-time data flows and complex backend services. Working in a collaborative environment, you’ll help drive platform strategy, improve developer experience, and ensure systems are secure, observable, and cost-efficient.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving infrastructure challenges, mentoring others, and building systems that make a real-world impact. especially in a domain where technology directly supports creative industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of platform development: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Support development teams with infrastructure and platform tooling.
- Collaborate with InfoSec and global platform teams to maintain security and compliance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and cost optimisation strategies.
- Mentor and coach engineers on platform best practices.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong programming background (Java or TypeScript preferred)
- Experience designing scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with event-driven systems and Kafka
- Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure automation tools (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.)
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design and collaborative modelling
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch)
- Bonus: Experience with monolith-to-microservices migrations
