Role Title: Senior Back up and Storage Technical SME
Duration: 3 month contract
Location: London. Hybrid, 80% Remote – 20% Office
Rate: up to 506 p/d Umbrella inside IR35
Clearance : Active SC is essential & you must either hold or be eligible for NPPV3 clearance
Role purpose / summary
Our client is looking for an experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of at least two or more of the following Dell Storage platforms:
- Dell PowerStore
- Dell Unity
- Dell PowerScale or Isilon
- Dell ECS
Experience of configuring Dell (Cisco SAN fabrics) and writing low-level storage design or configuration documentation is preferred.
Backup Role:
- Experienced Enterprise Backup Engineer with recent experience in design/configuration of NetBackup Software solutions.
- Preferably up to NetBackup version 10.x
- Experience with Veritas NetBackup Appliances is desirable (skills transferable from Data Domain experience).
- Knowledge of Veritas Access platform or other object storage platforms used for long-term backups is preferred.
- Experience in writing low-level backup designs or configuration documentation.
- Exposure to Azure backup and Hybrid backup architectures using NetBackup is a plus.
