Overview

We’re supporting a well-known global games studio seeking a Reporting Analyst to join a Player Insights / Analytics function. This role focuses on turning complex datasets into clear, trusted, and scalable reporting that supports product, player experience, and studio decision-making. You’ll sit between stakeholders, analysts, and data engineering — building Power BI reporting, shaping datasets, and enabling self-serve analytics across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs
  • Translate business questions into structured reporting solutions using Power BI and SQL
  • Work closely with data engineers to define, validate, and iterate datasets
  • Scope and design data models aligned with established data engineering frameworks
  • Implement data validation and QA checks to ensure trust and consistency
  • Use Git / version control to manage SQL and reporting logic
  • Improve self-serve analytics, including cubes and exploration tools
  • Identify reporting gaps and proactively recommend improvements
  • Contribute to future-focused reporting frameworks, including AI/BI integration

Required Skills

  • Advanced SQL
  • Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms
  • Exposure to Git / version control for analytics assets
  • Proven ability to debug data issues and maintain data quality
  • Confident communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with telemetry or event-based data
  • Background in live service, gaming, or digital products
  • Exposure to AI-driven BI, automation, or advanced analytics
  • Understanding of player / user behaviour metrics
