Job Title: Senior Product Designer – UX Location: London (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract Experience: 5+ years Introduction: We are committed to building a better future for smokers who would otherwise continue to smoke. Our Smoke-Free Products organization is focused on creating a Smoke-Free Future, and reducing the harm caused by tobacco by offering reduced risk nicotine products. As a Senior Product Designer, you can make your own powerful contribution to our social responsibility innovation programme. Bringing a relentless focus on delivering the right outcomes for our users, you'll be part of the Design delivery team within Global Studios. This is a high-profile, high-impact role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality visual design, and a passion for solving complex design problems. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions. Create visual concepts, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes using Figma, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Develop a variety of design alternatives and pitch insight driven concepts to product owner. Work collaboratively with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly and meet UI specifications and behaviour. Develop design systems and maintain their structure, organization, and updates, ensuring consistency across all digital products. Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality designs that meet both user and business objectives. Hybrid role requiring office collaboration 2 days a week at our fantastic studio next to St Pauls, central London. Requirements: At least 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design with a focus on visual design. Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of highly crafted solutions. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Zeplin, and prototyping in Framer (knowledge of React an added bonus). Experience creating and maintaining design systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively. Day-to-day workload: Experience with mobile-focused design and responsive design principles. Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies. Maintain design consistency and scalability through design system development and management. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, and apply them to improve our products. Must be located in London and eligible to work in the UK.
