Job Description
Principal ILS & Obsolescence Engineer
Location: New Malden (Hybrid: 1-2 days on-site, remainder remote)
Duration: 2-3 months with potential extension (client currently looking to see if they can of initial longer contract)

Our client, a leading organisation in UK Defence, is seeking a dedicated Principal ILS & Obsolescence Engineer to join their team supporting prestigious maritime programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that shape the future of defence technology.
What you'll be doing:
β’ Lead the ILS process across various programmes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery
β’ Provide expert ILS guidance to engineering teams, supporting complex product development
β’ Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
β’ Oversee ILS activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance and quality
β’ Manage technical aspects of supplier relationships, ensuring standards are met
