We are recruiting two Year in Industry Placement Students to support a Marketing and Operations team during the 2026/2027 academic year. This is a varied, hands-on role offering experience across marketing campaigns, digital content, data processing, event coordination, and project support.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the planning and technical set-up of multichannel marketing campaigns
- Reviewing campaign performance and presenting results and insights
- Creating marketing content such as emails, PDFs, and landing pages
- Supporting the approval process for marketing materials
- Assisting with the set-up and management of online events
- Processing healthcare professional consent data in a compliant manner
- Supporting ad-hoc projects and student initiatives
- Providing general marketing, operations, and project support
Who we're looking for:
- A second-year undergraduate on a four-year degree, seeking a third-year placement
- Studying STEM, Business, or Digital Marketing
- Achieved 3 A-levels at grade B or above (or equivalent)
- Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and data
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- A confident communicator and team player
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL is desirable but not essential.
Location & working pattern:
The role is based in Reading, with the expectation of being on-site most days, particularly in the initial months for training and onboarding. Increased hybrid working may be available later in the placement.
