Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on the AWS platform. The role involves working closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high availability and performance across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Deploy AWS Solutions: Architect and implement AWS infrastructure using best practices for scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement observability solutions (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk) and resolve incidents promptly.
  • Security & Compliance: Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize AWS resource usage for cost efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams on deployments, migrations, and performance tuning.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
  • Familiarity with data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake).
