Networks Solution Architect\\n\\nLocation: Dorset or Devon (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)\\n Salary: Up to £75,000 + benefits\\n Security Clearance: Required or eligible\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAn established defence-focused technology organisation is seeking a Networks Solution Architect to design and deliver secure, mission-critical network solutions for complex operational environments. This role sits at solution level, shaping architectures from concept through to delivery while working closely with senior technical stakeholders and engineering teams.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nLead system and network architecture from high-level design through to integration\\n\\nGuide engineering teams on adapting commercial technologies for secure, deployed environments\\n\\nWork with Technical Authorities to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and security standards\\n\\nSupport the development of technical proposals for new and ongoing programmes\\n\\nMentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering practices\\n\\nSkills & Experience\\n\\nStrong background in systems and network architecture\\n\\nDeep understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and deployed communications\\n\\nExperience integrating complex systems in defence or mission-critical environments\\n\\nConfident troubleshooting and owning technical challenges\\nDesirable:\\n\\nSATCOMs, radars, or aerial systems exposure\\n\\nExtensive MOD or defence experience\\n\\nNATO project exposure\\n\\nBackground as a Systems Engineer, Solution Architect, or Technical Project Manager\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\nCompetitive pension\\nPrivate healthcare options\\nFlexible wellbeing and lifestyle benefits\\nAnnual bonus / incentive scheme\\nDue to security requirements, applicants must be eligible for UK security clearance
