- Support the definition and documentation of finance business requirements.
- Review and challenge proposed system solutions to ensure accounting and reporting requirements are met.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Project Teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess the impact of system changes on downstream finance processes, reporting and controls.
- Perform and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring financial processes and controls operate as intended.
- Prepare test scenarios, execute testing and support issue resolution through to completion.
- Support finance data migration activities, including validation, reconciliation and sign-off processes.
- Develop future-state process maps, operating procedures and training materials.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and training to finance stakeholders where required.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to Finance leadership and project governance groups.
Essential Experience
- Qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Previous experience working on at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation programme within a finance function.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Financial Controls.
- Proven experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience of finance data migration, reconciliation and validation activities.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Finance, Technology and third-party suppliers.
Desirable Experience
- Multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- SAP FI, AP and AR module knowledge.
