We’re working with a leading Defence & Security organisation delivering cutting-edge Electronic Warfare and RF programmes, and we’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support a key long-term project based in Luton. This is a hands-on role focused on requirements, system design, and integration across complex RF systems. You’ll be working in a highly collaborative engineering environment alongside domain experts and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage system requirements using DOORS
- Define system interfaces to support design and integration across engineering domains
- Use MATLAB for modelling, analysis, and system validation
- Support the full engineering lifecycle from requirements through to integration, verification, and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment
- Ensure compliance with defence engineering standards and best practices
- Work closely with subject matter experts in EW and RF technologies
Key experience required
- Strong background in Systems Engineering within complex environments
- Experience using DOORS for requirement management
- Proficiency with MATLAB for modelling and analysis
- Understanding of RF systems and interface design
- Experience working across the full engineering lifecycle
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Able to work onsite 4–5 days per week
- Active SC Clearance (or recently lapsed and eligible to renew)
