A senior leadership opportunity has arisen for a Programme Director to lead a major improvement programme delivering into the MOD. This role sits at the heart of Defence and National Security delivery and requires a confident leader who can drive delivery excellence, strengthen customer relationships, and set clear strategic direction across complex programmes.
About the Role - Programme Director
As a Programme Director, you will take overall accountability for programme improvement, delivery performance, and financial control across a major MOD engagement. You will lead large multi-discipline delivery teams and align internal enabling services to support consistent, high-quality outcomes. The role includes senior engagement with MOD 1 and 2 star stakeholders, SROs, and wider governance forums at UK and European level. You will own programme governance, risk, issues, dependencies, and mitigation planning, ensuring transparency and control at portfolio level. One position includes mandatory responsibility for Internal Assurance activity.
