We’re supporting a major UK public sector organisation on a key HR digital transformation programme. This role sits at the centre of their People function — driving HR systems optimisation, data governance, and people analytics capability to support both operational delivery and strategic workforce planning.

You’ll take ownership of HR data, system improvements, and digital adoption, ensuring leaders have access to real-time, high-quality insights that influence decision-making across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead implementation and optimisation of HR systems (iTrent focus)
  • Roll out self-service tools, automation, and new functionality
  • Improve system data quality and reduce manual processes
  • Work closely with HR Systems Analyst and senior stakeholders
Data, Governance & Insights
  • Own HR data governance and data quality improvements
  • Build and enhance people analytics dashboards (Power BI / DataMart)
  • Deliver insights across:
    • Workforce planning
    • Diversity & inclusion
    • Engagement & retention
Transformation & Projects
  • Drive HR input into wider digital transformation programmes
  • Support paper to digital transition
  • Identify and implement process improvements across HR
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience with HR systems (iTrent highly preferred)
  • Proven background in HR data & analytics
  • Data governance
  • HR systems implementation / optimisation
  • Experience building dashboards (Power BI or similar)
  • Background in HR / People function environments
  • Strong stakeholder management (working with senior leaders)
  • Experience delivering digital transformation or business improvement projects
