Our Client, a leader in defence and security, is hiring for a reputable organisation to support on a satellite network project. This is an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to work on a high‑profile, fast‑paced programme with national and international travel.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to network faults and incidents, providing third‑line support
  • Managing installation, configuration, and testing of new system components
  • Ensuring new services meet UK security standards
  • Performing upgrades, enhancements, and managing obsolescence
  • Supporting the design and security of military communication networks, including satellite systems

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in designing and delivering IP communication networks, ideally with Cisco accreditation (CCNP preferred)
  • Knowledge of IP network architectures and serial communications
  • Familiarity with RF Satellite communications technology (advantageous)
  • Background in telecommunications or satellite communication environments
  • Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and processes
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
