My Client, a large global financial services brand, is looking for an experienced Compensation and Benefits Analyst for an initial 6-month contract. The role is inside IR35 and hybrid (3 days onsite).
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the UK Benefits operational environment. The role is UK benefits specific and requires evaluating solutions to operational problems, recommending, and implementing them. When solutions impact employee experience or benefit design, the incumbent will collaborate with the UK team to ensure alignment with strategy and policy. The role also involves analyzing operational issues, developing solutions, and coordinating resolutions with stakeholders.
The candidate must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate professionalism. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management: Implement new benefits and changes to existing programs according to the UK benefits strategy, involving stakeholders, regulatory understanding, and process development within challenging timelines.
- Process improvement: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize employee benefits platforms, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience. Analyze data flows to identify and implement improvements.
- Business as usual administration: Maintain benefit content for accuracy and compliance, respond to queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure processes adhere to UK regulations.
- Vendor management: Facilitate governance reviews with UK benefits vendors.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in UK C&B environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of UK pension regulations and laws.
- Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables) for data tasks.
- Serve as the first contact for benefits issues and escalations.
- Coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Validate benefits invoices before payment.
- Strong communication skills, with experience in mass communication for reward initiatives.
- Confidence to make recommendations and challenge senior team members.
