Working for the most prestigious environment in UK Politics, with the view of often being the first point of contact at the start of some of the most high profile situations in UK government. We\’re hiring for a Technical Communications Operator to join a high-trust, 24/7 communications team supporting a nationally significant operation. Ranging from being in contact with representatives of high profile UK based officials to the representatives of foreign officials and dignitaries. Here\’s a quick overview: First point of contact for internal and external calls Handling secure communications and cyber monitoring Setting up local/global conference calls Supporting high-level staff with tailored comms services Work Structure Full-time, permanent role 24/7/365 shift rota (includes nights, weekends, holidays) Initial training you will be on weekday day shifts only Progression to full shift pattern with 25% salary uplift Salary & Benefits Base salary: £33,200 Additional 25% shift allowance once fully trained Civil Service Pension: 28.97% employer contribution Minimum 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 Strong focus on training, development & inclusion Requirements UK Nationals only (Developed Vetting required) Office-based role in a secure environment Calm, confident communicator with solid ICT skills Experience in contact centres or emergency services is a plus If this sounds like something you\’d be open to exploring, click apply and don\’t miss out
