We are supporting a major UK-based digital transformation programme seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to provide leadership across enterprise security architecture. This role will play a critical part in shaping secure system design, embedding security principles across delivery, and ensuring robust, scalable solutions in a complex, large-scale environment.
- Lead the security architecture and design of systems and services across a large digital estate
- Ensure security requirements are embedded throughout the solution lifecycle
- Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate security risks, trade-offs, and design decisions
- Assess and provide guidance on complex and high-impact security risks
- Contribute to enterprise architecture decisions, security strategy, and transformation initiatives
- Research, evaluate, and apply emerging security technologies and innovative solutions
- Support governance activities, including quality assurance of architecture deliverables
- Promote and influence security best practices across technical and non-technical teams
Proven experience operating as a Security Architect or Enterprise Architect within large, complex environments. Demonstrable experience managing and articulating complex security risks. Deep understanding of modern security architecture, principles, and technologies. Experience working on cloud-based or large-scale transformation programmes. Knowledge of UK government or industry security standards and frameworks. Exposure to enterprise-level security strategy and governance. Experience contributing to or working within large-scale digital transformation programmes.
