Java Engineer Rate: £450.00 - £475.00 (inside IR35) Location: Telford (2 days per week onsite) Clearance: Active SC Clearance or SC Eligible The Opportunity We're looking for a Java Engineer to join a large-scale Agile delivery programme supporting the development and enhancement of business-critical services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise applications, helping deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions using modern Java technologies. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot . Design and develop Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and scripts. Build and consume REST APIs and integrations. Support delivery of new features, service improvements, and defect resolution. Participate in technical design, estimation, code reviews, and testing activities. Investigate and resolve production issues and support live services. Collaborate with Developers, Architects, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts within Agile teams.
