Summary
Our client is seeking DV cleared Front End Developers to support high impact Defence and Security programmes. You will design and build secure, responsive, user-centred web interfaces for mission-critical digital services used in highly sensitive environments. This is a hands-on development role, focused on delivering high-quality user experiences while working closely with backend engineers, UX designers and clients. You will contribute end to end, from translating designs into working applications through to continuous improvement of performance, accessibility and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Build front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into interactive, accessible user experiences.
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate front-end solutions with APIs and services.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure reliable and seamless user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews, maintaining high standards of code quality and maintainability.
- Work within Agile delivery teams, contributing to technical discussions and solution design.
- Identify and implement improvements to front-end development practices and tooling.

- Proven experience as a Front End Developer, with a strong portfolio of delivered work.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working in Agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, delivery-focused mindset.
Front End & Engineering
- Experience using version control (e.g. Git).
