Job Description

CMDB Application Developer & Reporting Specialist

Location: Stevenage (100% Onsite)
Rate: £800-£850 per day (Inside IR35)
Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance
Nationality Requirement: Sole UK National

Candidates must not have spent more than 28 consecutive days outside the UK within the last 5 years.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CMDB Application Developer & Reporting Specialist to lead the development and enhancement of a centralised Configuration Management Database (CMDB) platform within a large-scale enterprise environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong developer with expertise in application development, reporting, data integration, and ITSM processes.

You will be responsible for building CMDB capabilities, automating data collection, creating executive dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that improve service quality, operational efficiency, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development
  • Design and develop a CMDB management application.
  • Build intuitive interfaces for Configuration Item (CI) management.
  • Develop workflows supporting the full CI lifecycle.
  • Implement data validation and integrity controls.
  • Integrate multiple data sources through APIs and connectors.
  • Automate data collection and synchronisation processes.
  • CMDB & Data Management
  • Define and maintain CMDB data models and relationships.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Support infrastructure, application, service, and asset inventories.
  • Develop service mapping and governance capabilities.
