Safety & Assurance Engineer 📍 Aberdeen / Hybrid Working 📄 Contract | Outside IR35 | Long-Term Project 🔒 SC Clearance Preferred We are seeking a Safety & Assurance Engineer to support the delivery of safety-critical engineering projects within a highly regulated environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring systems and services are safe, resilient, and compliant throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Produce and maintain Safety & Assurance documentation. Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities. Facilitate and contribute to safety workshops. Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Cyber Security, Human Factors, and Assurance teams. Ensure compliance with safety management processes and regulatory requirements. Experience Required HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline. Experience within safety-critical, regulated, or engineering environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Experience with safety assurance, risk management, or governance activities would be advantageous.
