Job Purpose / Role
The Duty Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain processes. This position requires a detail‑oriented individual who can handle various tasks related to inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain principles.
Required Skills
- Handle incoming technical support incidents, requests and changes.
- Manage personal call queue, ensuring calls are closed in a timely fashion.
- Provide updates and maintain ongoing customer communication.
- Resolve calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries.
- Escalate calls to the 3rd Line team as necessary.
- Work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of engineers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other internal teams (3rd Line Technical Delivery Teams, Development, Projects, etc.).
- Perform software builds/re-builds on PCs and laptops as required.
- Fix hardware faults and install upgrades to client hardware.
