Role Summary: The Applications Scientist is responsible for digging deep into our methods and processes to understand how our novel chromatography technology works in customer hands. Role sits within the Fibro R&D department.
Key Accountabilities Of The Role:
- Work closely with a cross-disciplinary R&D team of Biologists, Chemists, Engineers and Material Scientists to support method development and process characterisation activities.
- Plan, execute and develop experiments for process and product characterisation of Fibro materials and devices.
- Review and write reports and interrogate data generated from various analytical methods, or development projects.
- Prepare and present data internally in the form of presentations, technical reports, memos and eLNs.
Key Skills And Experience:
- Must have a degree in a bioscience based field, PhD preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial experience working with Protein A chromatography media for bioprocess applications (R&D or process development setting preferred).
- You will have hands-on experience developing and verifying purification processes in a laboratory environment.
