We’re on the lookout for a Vetting and Resource Officer to support a secure UK public sector environment. You’ll be the day-to-day security admin for a secure onsite facility — processing BPSS/SC vetting paperwork, monitoring the security mailboxes, acting as the front-door security point of contact for staff/visitors, and keeping access control/compliance tasks moving smoothly (including contractor escorts and audit support).
What you’ll do:
- Process BPSS and support SC vetting administration (working alongside the Personnel Security Controller)
- Own day-to-day secure facility administration, including access control and user/visitor support
- Monitor and action requests coming into shared mailboxes (vetting + secure facility)
- Act as the primary security point of contact for site users and visitors
- Verify compliant use of the facility for sensitive engagements
- Escort contractors during maintenance/site activities when required
- Support security audits, inspections, and reviews
- Provide cover for the wider security team as needed

- Strong administration background (office, operations, facilities, or similar)
- Confident working independently and owning tasks end-to-end
- Excellent written/verbal communication; comfortable engaging at all levels
