Role Title: Network Implementation Engineer

Duration: contract to run until 29/09/2025

Location: Leeds, Hybrid working

Rate: up to £506 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Clearance required: Active SC clearance is essential

Key Skills/Requirements

• Data centre network upgrade
• Support the delivery of new hardware to data centres for asset tagging and storage, ready for deployment.
• Support installations and ensure they are aligned with asset expiry schedules, ensuring upgrades are executed in a timely and efficient manner. Hardware provided by CISCO, with resources being market leaders in this domain, comparable to Microsoft in its industry standing. Client\’s infrastructure teams are CISCO-certified, ensuring seamless deployment and operational continuity. Legacy hardware is CISCO, including:
• Cisco Nexus switches (9000 series, various models) for network protection and analytics.
• Cisco Catalyst edge platform devices (8500, 9500) supporting software-defined WANs for secure cloud connectivity.
• Cisco WAN routing platforms with SD-WAN and routing subscriptions for device functionality.
• Cisco QSFP+ transceiver modules for high-density 40GB Ethernet connectivity.
• Additional memory & storage to support network traffic and flexible storage solutions.
• Additional licensing for switches & devices for secure connectivity, visibility, analytics, and assurance.

This project will be delivered by the network teams within Infrastructure Services, under the direction of the Infrastructure Operations Leadership Team. Implementation will follow the client\’s formal Change Approval Board (CAB) processes, ensuring proper oversight and governance.
