You will act as the technical lead for the Salesforce development team, remaining close to the code while owning design quality, delivery standards and team capability. • Remain actively involved in build activity, including complex development and technical problem solving
  • Own technical solution design for user stories and features, ensuring alignment with wider platform architecture
  • Act as escalation point for technical challenges and production issues
  • Conduct code reviews, provide mentoring and coach developers to raise overall team capability
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD and release management practices (e.g. Copado)
  • Work closely with Product Owners to shape backlogs, estimate work and manage technical risk
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure solutions align with target‑state architecture and regulatory expectations
  • Support the transition from external delivery partners to sustainable in‑house ownership
Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Strong experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead or Team Lead
  • Proven hands‑on Salesforce development expertise (Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows)
  • Experience leading development teams, including code reviews, mentoring and technical decision‑making
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and complex data models
  • Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in regulated or enterprise environments
  • Good understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models and performance considerations
  • Practical experience with CI/CD and structured release management
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders

Desirable:
  • Prior experience in financial services, wealth or asset management
  • Exposure to OmniStudio and Industry Cloud tooling
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud or advanced data integration patterns
  • Platform Developer II or Financial Services Cloud accreditation
What Success Looks Like:
  • A confident, well‑supported Salesforce development team delivering high‑quality work
  • Consistent, predictable releases with strong test coverage and controls
  • Reduced dependency on external suppliers through effective knowledge transfer
  • Clean, maintainable code and solutions that scale with business demand
