We’re on the lookout for a Reporting Analyst to join a data-driven function within a leading gaming studio environment. This role is pivotal in turning complex data into clear, trusted reporting that supports decision-making across product teams, live operations, and studio leadership. You’ll work closely with analysts, data engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable reporting solutions and strengthen self-serve analytics—helping teams find answers faster and act with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Translate stakeholder requests into structured reporting solutions using Databricks + Power BI.
- Collaborate with data engineers to define, test, and iterate datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Scope and design data models to support reporting needs, aligned to established data engineering frameworks.
- Implement lightweight data validation and testing processes to increase trust in reporting outputs.
- Use version control (Git) to manage SQL and reporting logic—supporting collaboration, traceability, and change management.
- Drive improvements to self-serve analytics, including enhancements to the self-serve cube and intuitive exploration tooling in Databricks.
- Partner with studio teams to identify reporting gaps and propose improvements.
- Contribute to a reporting framework that supports AI/BI integration and scalable insight delivery.
Required skills & experience
- Strong experience with Power BI (including DAX and data modelling).
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets in Databricks (or similar).
- Familiarity with Git/version control for managing analytics code.
- Strong troubleshooting ability—able to debug data issues and implement practical QA.
- Experience collaborating with data engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
