Overview: We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Manager to join a high‑profile organisation in Bristol on a contract basis. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the protection of people, assets, and infrastructure, supporting critical operations and maintaining best‑in‑class security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of physical security operations across the site
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and threat analysis to identify vulnerabilities
- Oversee access control systems, CCTV, guarding, and incident response processes
- Manage third‑party security vendors and contractors, ensuring SLA compliance
- Coordinate and lead incident investigations and reporting
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure aligned security strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Support business continuity and crisis management planning
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Physical Security Manager / Security Lead role
- Strong background in corporate, critical infrastructure, or high‑security environments
- Experience managing security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and security best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
