We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing IT team. As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our enterprise Oracle databases. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on complex systems, contribute to performance tuning, and help architect scalable solutions for mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases and related tools.
  • Manage database security, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with developers and system administrators to optimize system performance.
  • Conduct database patching and support change control processes.
  • Provide on-call support for production environments as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Oracle DBA (minimum 3–5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c and RAC environments.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL scripting and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with database migrations and upgrades.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly desirable.
