An established financial services organisation is undergoing a major Salesforce transformation, migrating the end‑to‑end client lifecycle onto Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to provide hands‑on technical leadership, own platform architecture, and guide delivery through transformation into long‑term in‑house ownership. This role sits at the heart of the Salesforce Centre of Excellence and will shape a scalable, secure and compliant enterprise Salesforce platform.

Level: Senior / Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end Salesforce architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations and target state client journeys.
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable, well‑governed Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide hands‑on leadership across Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and Apex, setting development standards and patterns.
  • Act as technical authority for Financial Services Cloud data modelling, including Person Accounts, households and relationship structures.
  • Design and govern integrations using API‑led and event‑driven approaches.
  • Lead technical delivery alongside external partners during transformation, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Establish and enforce CI/CD and release management practices (e.g. Copado).
  • Mentor and coach Salesforce developers, providing code reviews and technical escalation.
  • Partner closely with Product and Architecture teams to manage technical risk and delivery roadmaps.
  • Ensure long‑term platform reliability, performance and sustainability.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • Advanced Salesforce development skills (LWC, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows).
  • Experience delivering complex Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware).
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models and governor limits.
  • Experience leading development teams or acting as a technical design authority.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD and release governance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or equivalent experience).

Desirable:

  • Experience within financial services, wealth or asset management.
  • Exposure to OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud concepts.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud (current or next‑generation capability).
  • Platform Developer II or Financial Services Cloud accreditation.
