FPGA Engineer in London

OverviewOur client, a global technology organization, urgently requires an experienced FPGA Engineer to undertake a long-term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

Strong FPGA Engineering background, with skills in VHDL/Verilog

Solid understanding of electronics and hardware systems, including interactions between software and hardware (e.g., RF over Ethernet)

Experience working with AMD ZynqTM UltraScale+TM MPSoCs, ideally with functions partitioned between ARM and FPGA resources

SC Cleared

Responsibilities

Design, develop and integrate embedded software and FPGA components for a Zynq-based waveform system

Partition and implement functions between ARM cores and FPGA fabric to deliver efficient, high-performance solutions

Analyze system requirements and help shape architectures that balance performance, reliability, and efficiency

Collaborate closely with RF, DSP, and hardware engineers to achieve seamless integration and system performance

Identify and resolve hardware-software interaction issues, optimizing for constrained embedded environments

Document design, development processes, and system architecture clearly and effectively
