What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage software assets across multiple legacy and future deployable IT systems.
- Ensure legal compliance by verifying correct licensing for all deployed software.
- Optimise license usage to minimise costs and maximise efficiency across all systems.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and establish beneficial Enterprise Agreements.
- Develop financial forecasts, maintain a 5-year cost model, and support budget planning.
- Track software deployment and usage, ensuring compliance with EULAs and Product Use Rights (PURs).
- Support procurement, writing business cases and ensuring software renewals align with project milestones.
- Assess the impact of changes to licensing rules and cost structures to support strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in Software Asset Management (SAM) and licensing compliance.
- Experience managing Microsoft, Broadcom (VMware), and Cisco software licenses.
- Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and optimise software procurement strategies.
- Experience working with high-security environments where traditional SAM tools may be restricted.
- Strong financial forecasting and budget management experience.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders, including procurement teams, security professionals, and technical leads.
