We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong technical foundations in infrastructure, networking, Wi‑Fi, cabling, and telephony/VoIP. Ideal for someone who previously worked as an IT/Network Engineer before moving into project delivery. You’ll lead multi‑site infrastructure projects, coordinating engineers, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe, professional, high‑quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee design, installation, and configuration across networking, Wi‑Fi, telephony/VoIP, cabling, and on‑prem hardware.
- Produce and manage detailed project plans, with clear client and stakeholder communication.
- Identify and elevate risks early.
- Support or supervise cabling, Wi‑Fi installs, telephony setups, rack builds, and hardware deployments.
- Assist engineers with technical queries and conduct site readiness checks.
- Ensure full system testing and correct sign‑off post‑installation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure technical standards are followed.
- Log time, tasks, and updates consistently.
- Manage third‑party suppliers and telco partners.
- Provide updates, manage expectations, and support pre‑sales when required.
- Previous hands‑on experience as an IT/Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of networking, Wi‑Fi, VoIP, cabling, infrastructure deployments.
- Excellent communication skills and structured, organized working style.
- Understanding of both on‑prem and cloud environments.
- MSP background.
- Familiarity with Azure, M365, SharePoint, and telecom/network suppliers (Openreach, Gamma, TTB).
- Experience in construction/fit‑out environments.
- PRINCE2 or similar PM certification.
