Overview
Our client, a global technology organization, urgently requires an experienced FPGA Engineer to undertake a long-term contract.
In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
- Strong FPGA Engineering background, with skills in VHDL/Verilog
- Solid understanding of electronics and hardware systems, including interactions between software and hardware (e.g., RF over Ethernet)
- Experience working with AMD Zynqâ„¢ UltraScale+â„¢ MPSoCs, ideally with functions partitioned between ARM and FPGA resources
- SC Cleared
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and integrate embedded software and FPGA components for a Zynq-based waveform system
- Partition and implement functions between ARM cores and FPGA fabric to deliver efficient, high-performance solutions
- Analyze system requirements and help shape architectures that balance performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with RF, DSP, and hardware engineers to achieve seamless integration and system performance
- Identify and resolve hardware-software interaction issues, optimizing for constrained embedded environments
- Document design, development processes, and system architecture clearly and effectively
