Responsibilities
- Developing and integrating complex software systems for maritime test and evaluation facilities.
- Supporting the design, development, testing, and delivery of digital signal processing solutions.
- Collaborating effectively with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues across various platforms.
- Managing change control and configuration processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Applying problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimise software solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong problem-solving and engineering skills with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering complex software systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Linux environment development.
- Knowledge of analogue-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analogue (DAC) converters and digital signal processing.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in defence or related sectors.
- Embedded software development for target hardware.
- Familiarity with coding standards, static code analysis, and Agile practices such as Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, and BDD.
