We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, overseeing the transition from a legacy platform to a modern, scalable CRM/ERP solution. This role is critical in enabling operational efficiency and enhancing user experience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle of the D365 implementation, from initial planning through to delivery and post-go-live support.
- Manage the transition from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, risk registers, and status reports.
- Coordinate efforts across internal teams, external suppliers, and implementation partners.
- Oversee timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and change requests to ensure delivery within scope and schedule.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops, ensuring alignment between business needs and D365 capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with functional leads, developers, business analysts, and testers to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Drive change management, training, and communication strategies to support successful user adoption.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and steering committees on progress, risks, and issues.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven track record delivering Dynamics 365 CE/CRM or Finance & Operations implementations.
- Strong understanding of the D365 platform and common integration and data migration challenges.
- Experience managing transitions from legacy systems to Microsoft cloud solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
- Comfortable managing third-party vendors and delivery partners.
Desirable:
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM).
- Experience working within regulated or complex environments (e.g. non-profit, public sector, housing).
- Familiarity with Power Platform and Azure integrations.
