Role Purpose / Summary
We\’re looking for an experienced IAM Tech Analyst who has a good understanding of Identity Management and a successful track record of working in complex and global organisations. The role will report to the Programme Director and be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Requirements gathering in a technical environment – across the identity and access management stack.
- Strong process mapping skills, to allow the full documentation and approval of new and updated processes.
- Deep understanding of Identity Management including Authentication, governance, access management and privileged access management
- Strong analysis skills, to drive the collation of requirements across the programme stakeholder group.
- Ability to turn requirements in to use cases and test cases.
- Technical understanding of identity and access management technologies, services and E2E processes.
- Experience of working closely with senior programme stakeholders, including Programme Directors, Senior architects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Confident at presenting where you are, what is the clear path to completion.
- Positive team player working as part of a large programme; questioning matter of fact find and challenge where appropriate
- Accountability for deliverables and proven track record of delivering on schedule
- Must be self-sufficient; able to deliver quality output without supervision
- Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, Confluence
Functional Knowledge
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial services, with a particular focus on the implications of IAM for HSBC\’s three global businesses and supporting functions. Able to translate business needs into appropriate technology requirements
- Extensive experience in a tech analyst role within Cybersecurity and IAM programmes, within large scale, complex and international organisations.
- Knowledge of the external environment and drivers – regulatory, political, competitor and market.
- Experience of working within a complex matrix environment, globally across cultures.
- Excellent people, communication and leadership skills and ability to establish effective collaborative relations with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Proven track record of working within complex enterprise-wide programmes critical to business performance
