Role Summary

We are looking for a Microsoft Defender Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead advanced security deployments across endpoints, email, identity, and cloud. This role ensures robust protection, compliance, and integration with Microsoft security ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender solutions:
• Defender for Endpoint (EDR)
• Defender for Office 365 (Safe Links, Safe Attachments)
• Defender for Identity (AD attack detection)
• Defender for Cloud (CSPM & workload protection)
• Integrate with Intune, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Apply Microsoft Security Baselines and ASR rules.
• Monitor and improve Secure Score posture.
• Provide guidance on automated investigation and threat hunting.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Defender suite and Microsoft 365 security.
• Strong knowledge of Intune, Conditional Access, and Azure security.
• Experience with enterprise-scale security deployments.
• Ability to interpret and improve Secure Score metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with FastTrack methodology.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and advanced threat analytics.
• Strong communication and advisory skills for customer engagement.
