A global consulting organisation is expanding its Data Governance & Privacy practice and is looking for a BigID Implementation Engineer to deliver enterprise-scale implementations across a range of end-client environments.
This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on BigID experience and enjoys working in technical, client-facing projects where you own the integration end-to-end.
The RoleAs a BigID Implementation Engineer, you will:
- Lead the deployment, configuration and integration of BigID within complex enterprise environments.
- Work directly with client stakeholders to understand data governance, privacy and discovery requirements.
- Design and deliver scalable solutions that replace legacy tooling with BigID’s modern platform.
- Build connectors, customise workflows, and ensure successful ingestion and classification of client data assets.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting and best-practice recommendations throughout implementation.
- Collaborate with internal consulting teams and technical SMEs to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with BigID implementation or configuration.
- Background in data governance, data discovery, privacy engineering, or similar technical domains.
- Experience integrating enterprise tools into complex client environments (cloud/on-prem).
- Familiarity with data catalogues, classification frameworks, metadata management or privacy compliance tooling.
- Excellent stakeholder-facing communication skills and the ability to translate technical detail into outcomes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment and deliver high-quality solutions.
