Our client, a global technology organisation, urgently require an experienced FPGA Engineer to undertake a long term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

  • Strong FPGA Engineering background, with skills in VHDL/Verilog
  • Solid understanding of electronics and hardware systems, including interactions between software and hardware (e.g., RF over Ethernet)
  • Experience working with AMD Zynq™ UltraScale+™ MPSoCs, ideally with functions partitioned between ARM and FPGA resources
  • SC Cleared

Within This Role, You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Design, develop and integrate embedded software and FPGA components for a Zynq-based waveform system
  • Partition and implement functions between ARM cores and FPGA fabric to deliver efficient, high-performance solutions
  • Analyse system requirements and help shape architectures that balance performance, reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with RF, DSP and hardware engineers to achieve seamless integration and system performance
  • Identify and resolve hardware-software interaction issues, optimising for constrained embedded environments
  • Document design, development processes and system architecture clearly and effectively
