We’re expanding our FPGA team and looking for an experienced engineer who’s passionate about solving complex problems, building innovative digital systems, and shaping the future of secure technologies. This is a fully remote position (UK‑based) with opportunities to work on cutting‑edge, high‑impact projects that directly support national defence and next‑generation capability development.
What You’ll Be Working On
- You’ll play a key role in designing high‑performance FPGA solutions for a range of secure and technically challenging programmes, including:
- High‑speed digital processing architectures
- Radar, EW, comms, or sensor‑related FPGA pipelines
- Real‑time signal processing & embedded acceleration
- Complex HDL design, simulation, verification & optimisation
- Working closely with systems, firmware and hardware teams

Key Skills We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with VHDL and/or Verilog
- FPGA design on platforms such as Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Microchip
- Experience with ModelSim, Vivado, Quartus or equivalent
- Digital design fundamentals (timing closure, synthesis, STA)
- Understanding of DSP, high‑speed interfaces, or embedded systems
- UK nationality required due to project security requirements
