Our client, a leader in infrastructure solutions, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician to join their onsite team in New Carlisle, IN. As part of this vital team, you will play a key role in supporting the installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of critical data center infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and high standards of quality. Pay Range: $23.50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber cabling in data center environments.
- Label and patch cables to switches, ensuring proper connections and documentation.
- Perform physical installation of server racks, patch panels, and related networking equipment.
- Coordinate daily material delivery, movement, and installation of enterprise IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all infrastructure components.
What's Needed?
- Experience with structured cabling installation and troubleshooting, including fiber, CAT5, and CAT6 cables.
- Hands‑on experience installing, testing, and repairing copper and fiber optic cabling, including patch panels and cable routing.
- Ability to physically install and move servers, network devices, and racks, including racking, stacking, grounding, and labeling.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking devices, switches, servers, and cable management best practices.
