The Opportunity
Our client is embarking on a major IT and technology transformation programme and is seeking an experienced
Senior PMO Analyst to support both a flagship transformation initiative and wider Enterprise PMO activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing change function and help drive governance, reporting, planning, delivery assurance and PMO best practice across a complex portfolio of change.
The Role
As a Senior PMO Analyst, you will play a critical role in strengthening programme governance, delivery controls, reporting and planning across a major transformation programme.
Working closely with programme and project teams, you'll ensure delivery activity is well managed, visible and aligned to strategic objectives.
You'll also contribute to the continued development of the wider Enterprise PMO, helping to improve governance standards, reporting capability and PMO maturity across the organisation.
- Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting routines and delivery controls.
- Prepare Steering Committee packs, executive reports and management information.
- Maintain integrated programme plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
- Track and manage risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and actions (RAID).
- Coordinate reporting across multiple delivery teams and stakeholders.
- Support planning, change control, dependency management and delivery assurance activities.
- Provide insight and reporting to support effective programme decision-making.
- Support enterprise-wide portfolio reporting and governance activities.
- Consolidate reporting across projects and programmes.
- Produce management information and executive-level reporting packs.
- Support portfolio-level RAID management, milestone reporting and dependency tracking.
- Contribute to wider PMO initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- PMO Standards & Governance
- Support the development and enhancement of PMO frameworks and governance standards.
- Maintain and improve reporting templates, governance processes and delivery controls.
- Promote consistency across project, programme and portfolio management practices.
- Support project health checks, assurance reviews and PMO maturity initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance visibility, control and delivery effectiveness across the change portfolio.
About You
We're looking for an experienced PMO professional who thrives in complex transformation environments and enjoys bringing structure, control and insight to major programmes.
- Proven PMO experience within technology, transformation or business change programmes.
- Strong experience in planning, RAID management, dependency tracking and milestone reporting.
- Experience producing governance reporting, Steering Committee packs and executive updates.
- Experience working across multi-workstream programmes involving both internal teams and third-party suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to analyse delivery information and present clear, concise management insight.
- Confidence engaging with and challenging stakeholders where appropriate.
- Experience supporting portfolio reporting, delivery assurance and PMO continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting large-scale operational or technology platforms.
- Exposure to testing, data reconciliation, operational readiness or exception management activities.
- Experience working within regulated environments.
- Experience supporting Enterprise PMO functions and portfolio governance activities.
