This is a fantastic opportunity to shape technology strategy, lead multiple engineering teams and play a key role in delivering large-scale transformation programmes while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead several technology squads responsible for delivering platforms that support core business operations.

Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you'll help define strategy, prioritise delivery and ensure teams are focused on building scalable, reliable solutions.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technology decision making, giving you the opportunity to influence architecture, delivery practices and the long-term technology roadmap.

Responsibilities include

  • Leading multiple engineering and product teams
  • Defining technology strategy and roadmaps
  • Driving large transformation programmes
  • Balancing project delivery with operational priorities
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to understand and prioritise demand
  • Improving engineering standards, delivery processes and governance
  • Supporting architecture, design and technical decision making
  • Managing technology budgets, suppliers and risk
  • Developing high-performing teams and creating a positive engineering culture

What we're looking for

We're keen to speak with experienced technology leaders who enjoy building strong teams and delivering business-critical platforms.

You'll ideally have experience with

  • Leading large engineering or technology functions
  • Delivering enterprise-scale technology programmes
  • Technology strategy and roadmap planning
  • Software engineering and architecture
  • Stakeholder management at senior leadership level
  • Agile delivery and modern engineering practices

Experience within financial services, wealth management or other regulated industries would be beneficial but isn't essential.
