We’re working with a fast‑growing software company building technically complex products used in highly demanding environments. They’re looking for a Technical Product Manager who enjoys working deep in the detail with engineers, while still owning product direction and commercial outcomes.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who sits comfortably between product and engineering - translating customer and business needs into scalable, secure, well‑designed software solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning specific product areas or capabilities from discovery through to delivery
- Translating customer and stakeholder needs into clear, technically sound requirements and user stories
- Working closely with software engineers and technical leads to assess feasibility, trade‑offs and architectural decisions
- Shaping and prioritising the product backlog with a strong awareness of complexity, dependencies and technical debt
- Contributing to product strategy, roadmaps and go‑to‑market plans
- Acting as a key bridge between engineering, commercial teams and customers
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a Product Manager / Technical Product Manager working on software or platform products
- Strong understanding of modern software development (Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps)
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts such as APIs, system architecture, microservices or distributed systems
- Able to read and understand code and structured data (e.g. JSON, YAML) at a high level
- Experience with B2B or enterprise software environments
- Confident communicator who can work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Experience in space, satellite, aerospace, geospatial or other complex systems domains
- Background as a software or systems engineer before moving into product
