The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance. We are actively looking to secure a Tester to join Experis. Experis Consultancy is a Global entity with a well-established team with over 1000 consultants on assignment across 20 clients globally. Job Purpose/The Role: This role is part of a high‑profile national transformation initiative, working within an experienced delivery team to support and enhance the testing of a major central government application.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support a high‑profile national transformation programme by contributing to the testing of a major central government application.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand, interpret, and validate user and system requirements.
- Develop clear, detailed, and accurate test scenarios aligned to functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Execute test cases to verify system behaviour, performance, and overall quality.
- Document test outcomes, identify defects, and track issues through to resolution.
- Work closely with the delivery team to improve and refine testing processes and practices.
- Ensure that all testing activities contribute to the delivery of a robust, reliable, and high‑quality mission‑critical system.
Your Skills:
- Minimum 5 years UK residency
- Preferable experience in Performance Testing
- Experience using Cucumber for automation
- Proficiency in Java
- Working knowledge of JIRA
- Familiarity with Confluence
